My father is 90 years old and lives with me. At his age and his weight - under 130 lbs now - skin care is something we manage very carefully. His palliative care team recommended a pressure redistribution cushion and his nurse helped me evaluate options. This was the best retail option she could recommend for home use. We are 6 months in and his skin is holding up well. I am grateful every day that I made this investment before any problems started.
I bought this for my son who drives for work all day. He hasn't stopped thanking me. His back pain has reduced significantly and he's much less exhausted at the end of the day. Great gift idea for anyone who sits for a living.

My mother is 83 and has been chair-bound since her fall. Before this cushion she was getting redness every 2-3 days despite me repositioning her regularly. Since we switched 3 months ago - nothing. Not a single mark. The cover goes in the machine on a cool wash and comes out looking fine. This cushion has changed the quality of both our lives. Hers because she's comfortable. Mine because I'm not as scared anymore.

Caring for a frail elderly parent is the hardest thing I have ever done. Finding products that actually work makes such a difference to your mental state as a caregiver. This cushion is one of those products. My mother has not had a single skin issue since we started using it 4 months ago. The cover has been through the wash many times and still looks and feels good. Five stars and I reccomend to every caregiver I know.
Been using this for four months now in my home office setup and it still looks and feels brand new. I've seen cheaper honeycomb cushions where the cells start to tear or deform after a few weeks. This one has maintained its structure perfectly. The cover has been through the wash probably a dozen times and still looks great. Good investment.
I've tried probably four or five different seat cushions over the past couple of years - memory foam, inflatable, coccyx cutout styles - and this honeycomb one beats them all. Memory foam compresses under you and you end up sitting on basically nothing after 30 mins. This one maintains its structure all day. Also the fact that it doesn't retain heat is huge. My lower back and tailbone have both improved. Highly reccomend.
Office worker. Sit for 9 hours most days. Lower back pain was becoming a serious issue and I was looking at very expensive ergonomic chairs. My wife suggested trying a proper cushion first. This one has essentially resolved the issue. Saved myself probably $800 on a new chair. Could not be happier.

I've been the primary caregiver for my husband for 3 years since his diagnosis with Lewy body dementia. Pressure care is one of the things that keeps me up at night. This cushion has genuinly helped me feel more in control of that one specific thing. His skin has been consistently clear for 6 months. The washable cover means I can keep everything hygienic without difficulty. I recommend this to everyone in my dementia caregiver support group.
I care for my husband who has advanced COPD. He can no longer lie down to sleep and spends nights in his recliner. I was so frightened about bed sores - you hear terrible things and I know how dangerous they can become in elderly patients. I bought this cushion and I check his skin religiously. Four months in and his skin is perfect. His respiratory nurse asked what cushion we were using and I sent her the link. This product is doing exactly what it needs to do.
Simple review - my tailbone has stopped hurting during work hours. That's all I needed from this product and it delivered. Five stars.

Nice cushion, does the job well. The pressure relief is noticeably better than cheaper foam options I'd tried for my mum. Four stars rather than five because I would have liked a carry handle or strap for portability. I take it between her chair and the car and carrying it under my arm is a little awkward. Minor complaint. The actual comfort and skin protection performance is excellent.

My dad is 88 and has been mostly chair-bound since his CHF got worse. I was managing his pressure care with whatever the pharmacist recommended and his skin was still showing marks. I asked his cardiologist what to do and he said proper pressure redistribution was non-negotiable. Found this cushion after a lot of research. Dad has been using it for 3 months and his skin checks have all been clear. I wish someone had pointed me to something like this a year ago.

If you are skeptical the way I was, just buy it. I was cynical after wasting money on three other cushions that all went flat. This one doesn't. Four months in and it's exactly the same as day one. The tailbone pain relief is real. I wish I had ordered it when my pain first started instead of suffering for 18 months.

My father has CHF and has been spending 20 plus hours a day in his armchair. I was so worried about his skin and Medicare of course doesn't cover prevention - only after something has already gone wrong. I bought this myself and it has been worth every cent. 4 months in and his skin is in great shape. His cardiologist was impressed when I mentioned what we were doing. This should be standard equipment for anyone in this situation.
I bought this for my mom who is 79 and spends most of her day in her chair. She's very thin now - you can see her tailbone easily. Her doctor had mentioned pressure sores as something to watch for. This cushion gives me real peace of mind. Her skin looks great and she says it's more comfortable than anything she's sat on in years. Five stars absolutely.
Five stars. Does not go flat. Does not get hot. Does not slide around. That's three problems it solved that every other cushion I owned made worse.
Bought for my husband who has spinal stenosis. He says it's the best thing he's sat on in years. He actually asked me to order a second one for his recliner which he never does - he never asks for anything. That tells you everything.

I am a carer for my mother who has severe osteoporosis. She has almost no padding and her GP warned me specifically about pressure injuries over bony prominences. I had been using a foam wedge cushion and it simply wasn't enough. Switched to this 3 months ago. The cells flex under her individually - you can see and feel the difference. Her skin condition has improved notably. I feel like I'm finally doing enough.
My father is 87 with CHF and arthritis. He spends most of his day in a recliner and I take care of him during the day. His skin is very thin and I know the risks. I had been using a vinyl foam cushion from the pharmacy and his skin was still showing early pressure marks. Switched to this and within 2 weeks the marks cleared. It's now been 3 months with no issues. The cover is easy to remove and wash which matters a lot for us.
My physical therapist told me I needed better pressure distribution when I sit. I showed her this cushion online before buying and she gave the thumbs up. After 7 weeks I can say my tailbone area feels genuinly better. The material stays cool and doesn't bunch up under me the way foam ones do. Very pleased.

April 10, 2026
I ordered this for my aunt who I look after. She has very thin skin and even small amounts of continuous pressure were causing marks. Since using this cushion the marks have stopped. She also says it's more comfortable than anything else she's sat on. I check her skin at every visit and everything looks good. Very impressed with this product.

My husband spent 3 months in a care home after a fall and they used a proper medical cushion which kept his skin in perfect condition. When he came home I was determined to maintain that standard. I looked at ROHO but the price without a prescription was too much. This cushion was recommended in a caregiver forum as the best alternative and I can see why. 5 months in and his skin looks the same as it did when he was discharged. I would not be without this.
Simply the best seat cushion I've owned. Bought it for sciatica and it works. Period.
My husband has been in a wheelchair since his accident 2 years ago. Pressure sore prevention is something we live with every day. I have tried many cushions. This one is genuinly among the best at this price point. The cells do not bottom out the way single-slab gel does. His skin has been consistently clear. The non-slip base keeps it from shifting in the chair which matters a lot."
I bought this after my husband's occupational therapist mentioned that the cushion he was using at home wasn't adequate for the hours he was spending in his chair. She specifically mentioned independent-cell gel as what to look for. Found this and it matches exactly what she described. We've been using it for 4 months and his skin has been perfect. OT was pleased at his last review. Would absolutely recommend.
My mother has been using this for 3 months. She is 80 years old and very slight. Her doctor said to be vigilant about skin pressure and we have been using this as part of her care routine. No issues at all. Very pleased with how the product has held up to daily use.
Perfect for long drives. I drive a truck for work and this has saved my back. No more stiffness after 6 hour stretches. Does not slide around on the seat. Does not go flat. Simple.
I am 72 and my doctor told me I needed to take my sitting posture and pressure seriously due to some spinal issues. He mentioned gel cushion technology and I found this. My back pain has improved noticeably and I feel more stable when sitting. The product is well made - solid, doesn't shift under you, and easy to keep clean. I'll be ordering a second one.

April 1, 2026
Very comfortable and the breathability is excellent. I've been using it for 2 months for my husband and it's held up well. Four stars because I wish the non-slip base were slightly more grippy on his leather armchair - it does shift a little during the day. Still much better than anything else we've tried and his skin condition has been good.
My mother fell and broke her hip 6 months ago. She's mostly chair-bound now and skin care has become a daily concern. I did a lot of research and I came close to buying a ROHO but the cost without insurance was too high. Found this one and bought it. Her district nurse was the one who noticed the improvement first - she said at mum's last visit that her sacral skin looked much better than she'd expected. That's the most meaningful review I can give.
My mother lives with me and I care for her full time. She has Alzheimer's and can't always tell me when she's uncomfortable. I check her skin every day. Since I put this cushion in her chair I have not seen any redness on her tailbone or hips. Before this I was seeing red marks regularly. I cannot recommend this enough to other at-home caregivers.
Ok so I was really hesitant to spend money on this because I thought how different can it really be from a regular foam pad. The answer is VERY different. I have a herniated disc at L4-L5 and sitting for more than 20 minutes used to cause shooting pain down my left leg. Since using this cushion I can sit for 2 plus hours without the same level of discomfort. The breathability is also real, not just marketing. My old cushion used to make me sweaty after an hour. This one doesn't. Five stars.

I'm an adult daughter looking after my mum who has COPD and barely leaves her chair. I found out about pressure sores from her respiratory nurse and it scared me into action. I tried one cheaper cushion that went completely flat after 3 weeks. This one has been different from the start - 4 months in, no flattening, no skin issues. I now have two of these. One for her main chair and one for the car when I take her to appointments.
Bought this after reading about pressure redistribution for elderly seating. My 88 year old father-in-law uses it in his wheelchair and at the dining table. Zero skin issues since we started using it and that was my number one concern. The carer who visits twice a week commented on how good his skin condition is. We are very relieved. Worth every penny and more.
Solid product overall. Comfortable and breathable. The reason for 4 stars is that within the first month a couple of the honeycomb cells at the edge started to split slightly. Nothing that affects the core function but for longevity I'd keep an eye on those edges. The central cells which take most of the weight are completely fine.

I am caring for my husband who is post-stroke and largely immobile on his right side. Pressure sore prevention is something we live with every single day. This cushion has been the best we have found at this price point. The individual cells redistribute weight properly and I can see the difference in how the cushion looks under him compared to flat gel. His skin has been in excellent condition for 4 months.

March 22, 2026
I look after my 85 year old mother-in-law. She is very frail and we have been told by her GP that skin integrity is a real concern at her weight and age. I paid for this out of pocket because medicare obviously doesn't cover prevention - only once damage has already happened. Money well spent. Not a single pressure mark in 4 months. The gel cells genuinly work differently from the foam ones we tried before.
My dad lives alone and I care for him from a distance - I visit three times a week. He has limited mobility and I noticed he was sitting in the same position for hours at a time. When I saw early redness starting I researched pressure cushions properly. His district nurse approved this choice when I showed her. The redness resolved within 10 days. I feel so much better when I leave him now knowing he has proper support under him.

I'm the primary carer for my 83 year old mother who has vascular dementia. She sits for many hours a day and I cannot always persuade her to change position. The pressure relief from this cushion has been genuinly important. Her community nurse has commented positively on her skin condition at every recent visit. I have also bought one for my own office chair because my back has been suffering from the caregiving and it helps with that too.
My husband is 86 and has been chair-bound since his stroke. The discharge team at the hospital told us to take pressure sore prevention seriously and reccomended we look at gel redistribution cushions. I compared several and chose this one. We are now 5 months in and he has not had a single sore. His skin checks are all clear. I cannot tell you the relief that gives me. I check his skin every single day and this cushion is a big part of why I can sleep at night.

March 15, 2026
Really comfortable cushion and the pressure relief is real and noticeable. My only minor gripe is that the cover runs a little small after washing so putting it back on can be a struggle. Not a dealbreaker at all and it goes back on fine once you wrestle with it a bit. Overall very happy and would reccommend. Taking off one star just for that small annoyance but the actual cushion performance is 5 star.

I'm a full-time caregiver for my elderly father who has dementia. I cannot always get him to reposition himself and his skin is very fragile. I had tried two other cushions - one foam, one cheaper gel - and neither prevented the redness. This one has. I'm also using one myself now because my lower back has been suffering from all the lifting and bending. It helps with that too. Good product for the whole household honestly.
Henrietta K.
March 13, 2026
This is my second purchase - I bought the first for my mother and the second for my mother-in-law. Both are elderly and frail and both are largely chair-bound. Both have had excellent skin condition since we started using these cushions. The caregiving team that visits my mother commented that they wished more families invested in proper pressure cushions before problems started rather than after. I completely agree. Don't wait.
Ok so I have been through the whole cycle - donut cushion, memory foam, that egg sitter thing from TV. All went flat within weeks. My wife finally said just try the expensive one. I did. It's been 5 months and it has NOT GONE FLAT. That is the entire review. Buy it.
I'm a home health aide and I see clients using all sorts of cushions. I reccomended this brand to several of my clients' families after seeing how well it held up and how comfortable it kept one of my regular clients. The washable cover is a major selling point in a caregiving context. Genuinely the best retail option I've seen for home care use.
I'm caring for my sister who has MS and is mostly chair-bound. I've been managing her pressure care for years and I know what works and what doesn't. This cushion is genuinly in a different class from the cheap gel pads you find at pharmacies. The cells don't bottom out. The cover is washable. It stays in place. Her skin has been clear for 6 months straight. I have recommended it to three other caregivers in our MS group.
I suffer from coccydynia and have done for almost three years. The pain on a bad day is genuinly unbearable. I've had cortisone injections, sat on ice packs, tried every cushion Amazon sells. This is the first thing that has given me consistent relief across a full work day. My pain is now maybe a 3-4 on most days. If you have real coccyx pain please try this.
My grandmother lives with us and is largely chair bound since her fall. The discharge nurses told us in no uncertain terms how serious pressure injuries can be at her age and weight. I bought this cushion before she even came home. We are now 3 months in and her skin is in excellent condition. The health visitor at her last check said whatever we were doing was working. Please take pressure care seriously before a problem starts - not after.
I am caring for my 82 year old mother at home. She recently lost a lot of weight due to illness and her skin is very fragile over bony areas. I started seeing early pressure marks despite repositioning her every two hours. Her district nurse told me the foam cushion I was using wasn't providing real pressure redistribution. I found this and ordered it immediately. The marks resolved within 2 weeks and haven't come back in 4 months. The nurse has been very positive at every visit since.

I've been caring for my mother-in-law for 3 years. She developed a stage 1 sore last year before we had a good cushion. We were devastated. After a lot of research I bought this one and we haven't had a single issue since. Her wound care nurse was so relieved at her last check. The washable cover means we can keep it hygienic which is so important. This cushion is part of our daily care routine and I won't be without it.
Good product. The pressure relief is noticeable and it's held up well durability wise. Giving 4 stars because the cover zipper feels a bit flimsy - I can tell it might not survive too many wash cycles. For caregivers who wash the cover frequently that's worth knowing. The cushion itself deserves 5 stars though. Would still buy again.
My father-in-law is 89 and barely weighs 130 lbs. Pressure injury prevention is something we take very seriously. I researched this properly - looked at ROHO and other clinical options - before settling on this one as the best value for home use without a prescription. His OT agreed it was a sensible choice. We're 6 months in and his skin is perfect. The washable cover is essential for us and it has held up to constant washing really well.

Pretty good cushion overall. Comfortable and the pressure relief is definately real - my dad says he feels it working. Knocked one star off because it's slightly smaller than I expected based on the product images. Works fine on his chair but just wanted to flag that it looks bigger in the photos. Would still recommend.

I was reccomended this by my husband's cardiologist after his CHF diagnosis. He spends a lot of time in his armchair now and the doctor said pressure relief mattered. This cushion has been excellent. The cover is easy to keep clean and the gel structure has not changed at all in 5 months. Skin is in perfect condition. Peace of mind is worth a lot.

February 26, 2026
My mother is 78 and has been spending most of the day in her chair since she was diagnosed with heart failure. The cardiologist mentioned skin integrity as something to monitor. I had tried two other cushions - one donut style which she said made things worse, and one foam that went flat in about 6 weeks. This one has been in use for 4 months now, no flattening, and her skin looks good. I inspect her tailbone and hips at every care visit.

My husband has COPD and is on oxygen and spends nearly all day in his chair. I cannot leave him for long but when I do I need to know his skin is protected. This cushion has been part of our care routine for 5 months now. His respiratory nurse checks his skin condition at every visit and has been positive. She mentioned that pressure management at home is something most families underestimate. I no longer do.
Mildred F.
February 24, 2026
I wanted to love this but I only like it. The comfort is real and my father sits more comfortably than without it. However the cover seems to attract lint and pet hair quite aggressively and the material makes it hard to remove even with a lint roller. If you have pets in the home this might be an issue. The cushion itself works fine otherwise.
Raymond U.
February 23, 2026
Good value for money. The comfort is real and the honeycomb design actually works. My only issue is it took about 3 days of use for the cushion to feel properly broken in - the first day or two it felt slightly stiff. After that it's been great. Would recommend but just know there may be a short break-in period.
Dolores H.
February 22, 2026
My husband has MS and is in his chair for most of the day. I have been managing his skin care for 7 years now and this cushion is the best retail option I've found. It genuinly redistributes pressure - you can see how the cells depress individually when he sits down. His skin has been clear for all 6 months we've used it. The cover washes well and doesn't shrink like cheaper ones I've tried. I recommend this to everyone in my MS caregiver group.
Pearl S.
February 21, 2026
I am 71 and my GP told me to get better seating support to help with my hip and lower back pain. I was dubious - you start to feel like nothing works anymore. But my daughter insisted I try this. I have been using it for 10 weeks now and I genuinly feel better sitting than I have in years. I can sit through family dinners again without having to excuse myself early. That's worth everything to me.

Caring for my mother with Parkinson's. She is in her chair for most of the day and repositioning isn't always possible as often as I'd like. This cushion takes a lot of the pressure off - literally. The difference in her skin since switching is noticeable. Her visiting nurse said her sacral area looks much better. The cover washes easily which for us is non-negotiable.

My father has vascular dementia and cannot always participate in his own care. He is in his chair for most of the day and his skin is very fragile at 86. I had been using foam and it simply wasn't enough. Switched to this 5 months ago. His community nursing team has commented at every recent visit that his skin condition is very good. I am paying for this out of pocket because Medicare won't cover prevention. It is absolutely worth every penny.

February 18, 2026
Bought this for my elderly mother who has been complaining about hip pain for years. She was sceptical at first but now she refuses to sit anywhere without it. The quality is much better than expected for the price. The gel material stays cool which is a huge bonus since she tends to overheat easily. Will definately be buying another one for her bedroom chair.
Arabella J.
February 17, 2026
Bought this for my husband after reading about pressure sore prevention for wheelchair users. He was skeptical - said he'd been through three cushions that didn't do anything. I ordered it anyway. He stopped complaining within the first week. His skin checks have been clear. He now calls it his most important piece of equipment. Coming from him that is high praise.

February 15, 2026
I look after my 77 year old mother. She started showing early redness on her tailbone area and I panicked. Her GP said to act fast with proper pressure redistribution. I bought this based on the reviews and I am so glad I did. The redness has completley resolved over about 3 weeks. I still check her every day but I feel so much less anxious now. Great product, would buy again instantly.
Carlotta N.
February 14, 2026
My mother has Parkinson's and barely moves when she's in her chair. I carry most of the worry for her skin. Before this cushion she had three episodes of early redness in one month. I switched to this and she hasn't had a single mark since - and that was 5 months ago. I still check daily. The difference this cushion has made to my anxiety levels as her caregiver is honestly hard to put into words. I reccomend it to every caregiver I speak to.

February 14, 2026
I've had sciatica for 12 years. My specialist said to reduce sitting pressure. This cushion is the only thing that has made a noticable difference in my day-to-day comfort. I've recommended it to everyone in my support group.
Josephine A.
February 13, 2026
I want to tell other caregivers especially - please don't wait until there is a problem to invest in this. I waited and my mother developed a small sore. After adding this cushion and following the repositioning schedule her nurse gave us it healed and has not returned. I wish I had bought this months earlier. The cushion works the cover stays clean and my mother says it's comfortable. What more can you ask for.
Marjorie K.
February 12, 2026
Caring for my husband with Alzheimer's. He is confused and doesn't always understand when I ask him to shift position. This cushion has given me genuine peace of mind because I know the pressure is being redistributed even when I can't get him to move. His skin has been clear for 4 months. I check every day. The cover washes at 40 degrees which is perfect. If you are caring for someone with dementia and mobility issues please invest in this.

February 11, 2026
Pretty good cushion. Comfortable and does help with pressure points. I use this for my mother who sits for about 9 hours a day and it's held up ok. The reason I'm giving 4 stars is that I feel like it compresses very slightly more than I'd like after extended use - not hugely, and it still provides good support, but a thicker option would be ideal for very long sitting days. Still recommned for sure.
Matilda H.
February 10, 2026
Piriformis syndrome and sciatica have made my life very difficult for the past 3 years. This cushion and some targeted exercises have given me back a functional daily life. The relief is consistent, it hasn't flattened and the breathability keeps me comfortable through the day. Five stars and I will be buying another as a backup.

February 9, 2026
My mother in law moved in with us after her fall and spends most of her day in a chair. I had been told by the discharge nurse to watch her skin carefully, especially over bony areas. I ordered this before she even arrived home and I think it made a real difference in her recovery comfort. She is 82 and very frail and hasn't had any skin issues. Her home health aide said this was a good choice. I'm buying a second one.

Bought this for my mother who has osteoporosis and spends a lot of time in her chair. I was having to check her skin every few hours and was still finding redness. Since switching to this cushion I check twice a day and her skin has been consistently clear. Her community nurse said at the last visit that her sacral area looks very good. I finally feel like I have the right equipment.

February 8, 2026
Honestly I was sceptical. I've wasted money on the egg sitter, the forever comfy, a couple of memory foam ones. All went flat within weeks. I almost didn't buy this because I assumed it would be the same. It's been 4 months and this one has NOT gone flat. That alone makes it worth the price. The sitting comfort is also genuinly excellent. Just buy it.

My husband had a major stroke 18 months ago and has very limited mobility on his left side. He was in hospital for 6 weeks and the pressure care they provided there was excellent. When he came home I was determined to maintain the same standard. This cushion is the closest to clinical-grade I have found without a prescription. It's been 8 months and his skin is in the same condition as when he left the hospital. That is everything.
I am a caregiver for my husband who has ALS. He spends all day in his chair and skin protection is absolutely critical for us. I have tried several medical grade cushions at 3 and 4 times the price of this one. This one performs as well or better and the washable cover is a huge advantage. His skin has remained in excellent condition. I have recommended this to two other families in our ALS support group.

I care for my 80 year old mother who is barely mobile. She's been getting red marks on her lower back no matter what we put under her. I tried two cheaper cushions before this one - both went flat within a month. This one has not gone flat in 4 months and her skin condition has genuinly improved. Her district nurse noticed straight away and asked me what cushion she was using. That's the best review I can give.

I'm 67 years old and have been dealing with sciatic pain for almost 8 years. I have tried everything. My daughter found this and ordered it for me. I can sit through a full church service now without having to get up. I sat through my grandson's entire baseball game last weekend for the first time in three years. Please don't give up.

My husband was diagnosed with Parkinson's 4 years ago and I have been his carer for the last two. His neurologist mentioned pressure care as something to stay ahead of. I tried two other cushions. Both went flat within a few weeks and he started showing early redness. Switched to this one and the redness cleared in about two weeks. No issues since. I also sleep better knowing I have done everything I can.

Long haul driver here. 500 miles a day some days. This is the best investment I've made in my cab comfort in 15 years of driving. My back pain has reduced noticably. Would buy again without hesitation.

I'm writing this for any caregiver who is sitting on the fence. My mom is 84 and barely has any body fat left. The first couple of cushions I bought went flat in weeks and she was still getting pressure marks. I was exhausted and scared. This cushion has been completely different. It's been 5 months. It has not gone flat. She has no pressure marks. Her skin nurse at her last check said everything looked excellent. Please don't wait the way I did.

I care for my 84 year old mother at home. She has very little body fat left and was developing red spots on her tailbone that terrified me. Her home health nurse recommended a proper pressure relief cushion and after a lot of research I chose this one. After 6 weeks - no more red spots. Not one. The nurse commented on the improvement at her last visit. I'm buying a second one for her recliner. If you are caring for someone fragile, please don't wait. This is not the place to cut corners.

For any caregiver reading this - I understand how overwhelming this all is. I've been caring for my husband for 4 years since his stroke and finding products that actually do what they promise makes such a difference. This cushion does what it promises. His skin is healthy, it hasn't flattened, it washes easily and it stays where you put it. I'm buying a second for his bedroom chair. Five stars from a very tired but very grateful caregiver.

My sister and I share care for our mother who has advanced Parkinson's. She sits in a specialised chair most of the day and couldn't tell us anymore when she was uncomfortable. Pressure care fell entirely on us to manage. I researched this properly before buying. The independent cell structure is genuinly different from single-slab gel. Her skin has been consistently clear for 5 months. Her physio commented on how well we were managing her pressure needs at home.

Im quite happy with this cushion. It's comfortable, breathable, and has helped with my mother's hip discomfort. Taking off one star beacuse the instructions in the box were unclear - I couldn't tell right away which side should face up. A simple diagram would help. Once I figured it out though it works great.

I'm caring for my mom at home and she only weighs about 88 pounds now. Her skin is so fragile and I've been terrified about pressure injuries since she moved in with us. Her occupational therapist visited and actually said this was one of the better retail options she had seen for home use. That gave me so much reassurance. Her skin has been fine and I inspect it every day. Very grateful for this product.

Average product. Comfortable enough at first but after one month of use I feel like it's already not providing the same support as when it was new. The cells might be compressing slightly. For the price it's acceptable but I was hoping for something more durable given how dependent my husband is on it during the day.

I look after my father who has CHF and advanced arthritis. He spends up to 18 hours a day in his chair and I was terrified about skin breakdown. I did a lot of research before buying this. I compared it to the ROHO which his doctor mentioned but the cost without prescription coverage was impossible. This has performed wonderfully - 4 months in, no skin issues, his nurse is happy and most importantly he says it's comfortable. That last part took me by surprise - he never usually says anything is comfortable.

I'm a caregiver for my father who has dementia and is mostly chair-bound. Skin integrity is a major concern and I've spent a lot of money trying different cushions. This one is the best I've found - the cells genuinly redistribute pressure and the washable cover is a must for hygiene. His visiting nurse gave it the thumbs up. Very grateful.

My mother was discharged from rehab after a hip fracture and told to avoid prolonged sitting pressure. The rehab facility had been using a similar honeycomb style cushion and we asked what to look for. Found this and bought it before she even got home. Her skin has been perfect. The OT who did her home visit said the setup looked good. I reccomend this to every caregiver I know.

Honestly on the fence. The breathability is as advertised and it definitely doesn't retain heat. The pressure relief is ok - noticeable but not miraculous. My main concern is that within a few weeks a few of the honeycomb cells started to look a bit deformed. Still funcioning but it doesn't look great and I wonder if the structure is degrading. Three stars for now. Functional but durability is a question mark.

I look after my elderly neighbour as well as my own mother - both are largely chair-bound. I bought one of these for each of them. Both have had excellent skin condition since we started using them. One is 79 and one is 84 and both are quite frail. The difference from their previous foam cushions has been clear. I've told the carers who visit both of them about this product and they've asked me to send them the link.

I'm a caregiver for my husband who has CHF and has had to sleep in his recliner for over a year because he can't lay flat. I was terrified about pressure sores - you read awful things online about what can happen. I bought this cushion and also bought a second to alternate. His skin has stayed in good condition and his occupational therapist approved the purchase when I showed her. She actually said she wished more family caregivers took prevention this seriously. That made me feel so much better. Thank you.

I care for my mother at home after her stroke. She has weakness on one side and tends to lean, which concentrates pressure unevenly. The pressure marks she was getting on her left side worried me enormously. Since we started using this cushion the marks have gone. Her stroke rehab nurse was pleased and said the cushion was doing its job. I also love that the cover can go straight in the washing machine. For caregivers that practicality is everything.

I am 67 and have been a caregiver for my husband for the past 5 years. He had a spinal cord injury and has spent most of that time in a chair. I have tried many many cushions. This one is genuinly the best I have found without going to prescription-only equipment. The cells don't bottom out the way cheaper ones do. His skin care nurse was impressed and asked me to send her the product details so she could recommend it to other families. That says everything.

I care for my mother who is 91. At her age and weight even a short period of unrelieved pressure can cause damage. I have this cushion in her chair and in her wheelchair and I check her skin twice a day. Since we started using these cushions I have not had a single skin alert. Her community nurse said at the last visit that her skin integrity was very good for her age. That's all I needed to hear.

Good cushion. The honeycomb design genuinely helps with pressure relief and my father has had no skin issues since we started using it. The reason I'm giving 4 stars rather than 5 is the smell. When I first opened it there was a noticeable chemical smell that took about a week to fully dissipate. Just be aware of that - air it out before use. Once the smell is gone the product is excellent.

I bought this for my dad who is 82 and has limited mobility after a knee replacement. My main concern was keeping his skin healthy while he recovers. His physiotherapist said the choice was sensible. He says it's the most comfortable thing he's sat on in years and I say his skin looks great at every check. Win on both counts.

I want to tell other caregivers who are on the fence - buy it. I spent 18 months trying cheaper options while my mother kept getting red spots. This cushion has been different from week one. No redness. The home health nurse told me to keep doing whatever I was doing. I'm now buying a second for her bedroom chair. I only wish I had found it sooner.
I have arthritis in my hips and lower spine. Sitting for more than about 30 mins would leave me stiff and sore. This cushion has genuinly extended how long I can sit comfortably. I still need to get up and move but it's 60-70 minutes now instead of 30. Big difference for quality of life.

It does provide some pressure relief and my dad says it's comfortable which is why I'm giving 3 stars. But honestly the improvement over his previous cushion isn't as dramatic as the marketing suggests. I also found the non-slip base less effective on his particular chair - it does slide around more than I'd like. Not bad but not the revelation other reviewers describe.

My occupational therapist recommended a gel pressure cushion and pointed me toward this type of product. The independent cell design is supposed to be much better for true pressure redistribution and she was right. Bought it for my husband who has limited mobility and we are very happy with it.

Use this in my 18-wheeler. Cover is easy to wipe down and the grip keeps it from sliding on the truck seat. My lower back feels so much better after long hauls. Should have found this years ago.

It's fine. Comfortable at first but after about 45 mins to an hour my mother starts to feel the pressure returning. For shorter sitting sessions this would probably be great but for someone who sits for many hours continuously it doesn't quite cut it. The non-slip bottom is genuinely good though. Good for light to moderate use but not for full-day chair-bound situations.

I bought this after my physical therapist suggested a pressure-relief cushion. She actually approved this specific one when I showed her. The honeycomb structure is designed to relive tailbone and coccyx pressure and you can genuinly feel the difference. My coccyx pain has reduced significantley. Would absolutely reccommend to anyone dealing with chronic pain in that area.

Bought for my husband after his spinal fusion surgery. His surgeon said cushioning would be important during recovery. This one got the job done and he's still using it 9 months later. Can't fault the durability or the comfort. Would absolutely buy again.

Three stars because I have conflicting thoughts. It's comfortable and the quality seems decent. BUT the smell was quite strong and lingered for almost 2 weeks for me. Also the cover shrank a bit after washing and was really difficult to get back on. These are solveable problems and the core product is good but they need to address these issues.

The cushion is ok. Comfortable enough and the honeycomb design seems to work. My main isue is durability. After about 6 weeks of use I can already see some wear on the cells near the edges. The center is fine but I'm worried about how long this will last with daily use. As of now it's a 3 star product with the potential to drop lower if it deteriorates further.

Mixed feelings on this one. On the positive side the breathability is genuinely excellent and my mother doesn't get sweaty the way she used to with the foam cushion. On the negative side I found the pressure relief less dramatic than the reviews suggested. She does have quite significant skin fragility and while this helps it hasn't been the transformation many reviewers describe. May work better for people with less severe needs. Not bad, just didn't quite meet the high expectations set by the reviews.
